Conditions for using the Ivory Upended marketplace. Updated 27 October 2026.
The marketplace
Ivory Upended helps customers discover beauty services and send booking requests to professionals. Professionals are responsible for their service descriptions, availability and the services they deliver. Listing approval is not a guarantee of a particular result.
Your account
Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. Google registration is for customers; professionals register with email and business details. Do not impersonate others, misuse another person's information or attempt to access private records.
Booking requests
Review the service, appointment options, address and total before submitting. A request is not a confirmed appointment until the professional confirms it. Customers must provide the required profile information and confirm their address. Agree any changes or cancellation arrangements with the professional.
Fees and payments
The booking total includes a 10% Ivory Upended service fee on the service price. A displayed booking amount is not a payment receipt. The app does not currently collect customer payments, hold funds, issue automatic refunds or settle professional payouts. Any future payment service will have additional details shown before payment.
Professional listings
Professionals must have the rights to the photographs and content they upload, describe services honestly and maintain accurate business information. Profiles and services require review before booking is available. Listings may be hidden or professional access removed for misuse; historical booking records remain available to their participants where appropriate.
Product shopping
Product information shown in the app is a catalogue snapshot. Shopify product pages confirm final prices, availability, delivery and purchase terms. Product orders and checkout are handled by the existing store, not by the app's booking request system.
Recommendations and voice
The beauty helper provides suggestions, not professional health or medical advice. Verify that a service suits your needs with the professional. Arclio and Sevexa live voice, support calls and premium purchases are not yet available; no voice session entitlement represents a connected calling service.
Responsible use and availability
Do not post unlawful, misleading or abusive content, interfere with the service or bypass account restrictions. The app may be updated or temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Our privacy notice explains how account and appointment information is used. These terms may be revised when services change. Review the applicable terms before using a new service.
