This notice explains how personal information is used in the Ivory Upended beauty marketplace. Updated 27 October 2026.
Information you provide
We use account details such as your name and email, profile photo, address and booking information to provide account access and appointments. Professional accounts also include business details, service prices, descriptions and photographs. If you save voice preferences or support-call consent, those choices are stored with your account.
Optional location
Location permission is optional. If you allow it, coordinates are saved to your account to find nearby approved professionals. You can instead enter an address. Customer saved coordinates are private to that customer's account and are not broadcast publicly. Business locations can appear with professional listings.
How information is used and shared
Account information supports sign-in, profile management and booking requests. Booking participants can see the information needed for their appointment, including customer identity and address details. Authorized owners review marketplace records for moderation and administration. Approved professional profiles and service listings are publicly visible.
Services involved
Lovable Cloud provides account and data hosting. Google is involved when you choose Google sign-in or address lookup. Requests submitted to the beauty helper are processed by the AI service to suggest catalogue matches; do not include sensitive personal information. Product checkout takes place on Shopify, which applies its own privacy practices. Arclio and Sevexa are not connected for live calls or voice sessions.
Browser storage
Essential browser storage keeps you signed in, remembers a safe return destination after sign-in and records temporary choices such as dismissing the location prompt. These are needed for the account experience. Clearing browser storage can sign you out.
Your choices
You can decline location access, update your saved location and choose whether to save support-call consent. You can review your account and bookings after signing in. For access, correction or deletion requests that are not available in your account, use the contact details provided by Ivory Upended when available. Booking records may need to be retained for participants and legitimate recordkeeping.
Security and changes
Access to private account records is restricted, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. This notice may change as payment, voice or other services become available; review it before using a newly introduced service.
